Willard Martin Board – The year was 1994, and I had just defeated Tony Snyder for the “B” Champion, at the Ontario Crokinole Championship in St. Jacobs. (The match even included my first perfect round) I was on top of the world, and I was determined to take my game to the next level. For that to happen, I needed a tournament style board. Fortunately for me, there just so happened to be a man selling crokinole boards at the event. I took my winnings, plus some extra cash I had brought with me and bought my first crokinole board. I completed the transaction with Willard Martin for $75 cash. I can only imagine the smile on my face walking out of that event. A plaque in one hand and a brand new crokinole board in the other. This picture is not of that specific board, but it is very similar.
