Hi Ray, the link works fine and the video looks great even if it does come down to a tie. By the way what equipment did you use to take the video? Those overhead shots come out great eh. In our kitchen we have a wooden box that holds the microwave and I just strap the camera attached to a tripod, legs folded so it functions like a boom, to the top of that (with a bungee cord). It's a little makeshift but it's pretty secure and is easy to put away when the inevitable cry of "Get your crap off my microwave and out of my kitchen!" is heard. If only we could rig something like that up for the finals at the tournaments. Somebody standing on a chair 2 feet away can be a bit distracting. I posted the pictures of Schneider Haus and Exeter on the ning site.
Here's the URL:

hope that link works ;^)

I'll keep you posted on the finals video.

Hey Eric

Your link works too. To film the footage, I used my digital camera mounted on my video camera tri-pod. Two legs were sitting on the crokinole table(not the board), and the third was on a half wall that is situated right beside my playing area.
I will take a picture to post here when I get a chance. I then used the only editing software that I know I have (Windows Movie Maker). It works. I am sure there is better software out there, but that was on my computer. I am making more videos that will be debuted at the 2009 WCC. Something to look forward to for some people. Also, we have a brand new product that we are excited to debut at the tournament as well.

Cheers

I put this video together without Joe knowing. Hopefully he does not mind too much. Unfortunately Joe was unable to attend the WCC this year due to health issues, but I am certain he will be a strong competitor once again in the 2010 Tournament.

Joe, you are truly an inspiration to all.

Here is the link to the video that I posted on Youtube.

I have one final video to post. It is the Crokinole Depot Infomercial for our recently released 20 holder. We sold out at the WCC Tournament and are currently working on another batch. Any feedback on the 20 holder would be great. We overheard some comments at the tournament and had a lot of instant feedback. We went through a couple of prototypes before settling on the product we unveiled at the WCC, but we are open to suggestions to try to improve on the product. One thing we heard a little of, was "I can make one of those". Perhaps you can, but I will give you a hint, if you are not a wood worker, or do not have the proper tools, it is not that easy. Anyways, we are looking for feedback, so bring it on!

We had fun putting this video together, I hope you get a few chuckles out of it. P.S. Sorry about the audio level. It is all over the map.

Good news. After another summer of work I am proud to present the second edition of videos from the World Championships in Tavistock. This year I have posted the championship finals (found broken into 4 different sections) as well as two matches from the round of 4 playoffs. You can watch the videos on youtube by searching World Crokinole Championship 2009. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I have.
