Hanging boards

Postby Joe on Sat Jan 03, 2009 5:43 pm

I suspect this is a commonly asked question, but I haven’t been able to find an answer to it. Any help appreciated.

Having just bought my first ever crokinole board - first one I'd ever seen, in fact - I’m struck by what a beautiful object it is, and would like to hang it on the wall when it's not in use. Any suggestions on the best way to do that? I’m a bit nervous about screwing an eye or whatever into the lovely wood.

Hello Joe,

The man you want to talk to about this is Martin Willard. http://www.crokinolegame.ca He makes a crokinole board wall hanger. I think it is even adjustable.

Welcome to the crokinole world. Hope you are enjoying the game.

Here's a rack that I got from Willard. He doesn't have a picture on his site. Nice, eh?

The top and bottom rests are hollowed out and hold the board securely. 24 disks held on top.
If the pegs are my friends, why do my discs hate me so much?
